Anyone who knows me knows I love rhyming headlines, so I’ve been excited about this for awhile. Really hope this takes off so I can say there’s an “Operation Publication Confrontation” sensation that’s sweeping the nation!

Meanwhile, anyone who knows Angie knows not to try it, not even once.

ANGIE, whispering: Don’t worry, I got it.
DALE, whispering: Wait, but–
Panel Two
ANGIE, tapping SECOND-YEAR on the shoulder: Hey! Did you say you’re covering this for the Charlatan?
SECOND-YEAR: Hmm? Yeah, why?
Panel Three
ANGIE, smiling: Oh, well, I’m just a little confused, because I’m covering this for the Charlatan too, so I was wondering if maybe there was a mix-up?
SECOND-YEAR: Oh! Uh…
ANGIE: Which editor gave you the story? Ryan? Melissa? Nate? Angie?
SECOND-YEAR: Um… Angie, yeah. She assigned it.
ANGIE: Oh! Okay, that makes total sense, then. I understand exactly what happened.
Panel Four
ANGIE, dropping her smile: You lied to a source to get an interview, which is bad enough…
SECOND-YEAR: Uh…
ANGIE: But you also clearly haven’t done your research beforehand, which is even worse. You know why?
SECOND-YEAR: Wh—
ANGIE: Because I’m Angie from the Charlatan.
SECOND-YEAR, in a tiny voice: Oh.
